that might have had more value if she hadn't made a livejournal post about it in 3rd person.
When I bought my ticket for Vendetta they handed me a little card advertising the National Guard with my receipt. I ranted briefly about how I thought that should be illegal, and about how my movie choice didn't exactly scream "wants to die for the gov't." But the back of the little card had an iTunes code on it so I kept it.
Much later, back at the lab...
I discovered that it was not an iTunes code but a 1-800-GO-GUARD.com code. I had to take a little quiz about the National Guard, when it was founded, how much money you'd get if you signed up, how much money they'd pay for you college, in order to get the true iTunes code sent to my gmail. It was a lot of reading for one song, but hey, it was free. So now I was faced with a dilemma. What to buy with my illgotten gains? The winner?
We Need a War -- Fischerspooner
See? A perfect set up. Just thought I'd share. I recently began to actually listen to Fischerspooner (I have a grand total of 2 songs) and think they are quite nice.
P.S. In case anyone did this. Fine. It was easy, and about two paragraphs of scan reading. Just for the record.
I also have not researched Fischerspooner yet and take no responsibility if they are indeed neo-Nazis.
