8hyenasSo...living the the present...it sucks.
A very quick recap of last night. I want to see a movie. I glance at the map, "hmmm six inches, I can walk that" I grab Aaron and we begin the quest to see both/either Wallace and Gromit or (FINALLY) Corpse Bride. We walk. And walk. And walk. There's a lot of walking. The we sight an IHOP (and we're saved) and eat. A lot. We finally make it to the movie theater, too late for any showing but one and watch about half of W and G then sneak into CB and watch the last half of that. Then we walk back. During all of this I was hysterically happy. After the fact I'm rather bitter.
Today I discovered that the girl who I was potentially going to be friends with and who liked Anansi Boys has left. As in packed up and went home for good. She must have been miserable because there are no refunds. I think I would stay even if I were suicidal because there's no way I'm letting $20,000 per semester go down the drain.
