Between posts Honey (chihuahua mix, my heart) also got sick so it was a twofer at the vet's. He examined the chicken and proclaimed that he didn't know what was wrong with her but she wasn't in pain. So she got an antibiotic shot. He tried to show me how to give the next two shots but that didn't work out. So instead I am taking the chicken to work with me today and tomorrow. Then taking her to the vet, then home on my lunch break.
Honey got a diagnosis of "who knows" but he ruled out intestinal blockage. She got an enema. Poor thing. And some of the weirdest poops happened. Definitely some sort of gastro problem. She did eat two small meals yesterday and was with it enough to come to bed last night instead of staying on the couch. So she's feeling a little better.

Honey back to barking at her empty bowl in a subtle hint at dinner time. Chicken still chickening and did very well as an office pet. I shared my granola. She gets one more day and night in the bedroom then she's going outside to the quarantine pen.
