Yet another, "Briel is so very happy." entry.
Why I love my hometown:
Today I was waiting at the post office. Me, a Baptist, a Methodist, and a drug dealer. The local drug dealer accidentally began to walk off with the postmaster's pen. When called on it he absentmindedly said, "Oh, sorry, thank God I'm not a criminal. I'd be in jail by now." The room went silent. Then everyone burst into laughter.
Another example overheard last summer:
One little old lady was complaining to another one about how someone broke into her house. She called the sheriff and the sheriff said to hit the guy over the head and he'd be there in an hour and a half. It turned out to be her brother-in-law, but she still complained about the sheriff.
