In the library
Oct. 16th, 2007 11:31 amSo I've managed to tear myself away from my laptop. Which is good because I have two research papers and a short story to write. I can't quite pull away from the internet just yet, but at least I don't have a dozen episodes of Supernatural sitting on my hard drive.
That's pretty much how my life goes.
Good things
Fall break
Going to Chicago to see Jessa
Thanksgiving Break
Going to London to see Kathryn
Iffy things
Going to Africa next semester. (I got into the Cameroon program, so it's pretty definite)
Christmas Break (yes, there are friends, but there is also family...)
Driving through Wyoming in December. (Logically unsound. But I hate California, and traffic, and the ocean*.)
Nanowrimo (am I insane?)
Bad Things
That *(#&$(*&(#*&!(*&(#*& Globalization paper.
The short story that is turning out to Not Have A Plot.
My presentation this afternoon
My underwear which is annoying me with its tag
*The ocean. Where things lurk beneath the surface waiting to eat you. I had a bad experience at night with a piece of kelp. Tragic.
