So I thought it might be time for an actual update...

Here I sit in my room. Drinking lemonade and wondering if I'm brave enough to watch X-files, even though it's dark outside. I'm trying to decide if leaving the inside lights on would be enough. Due to a fruit eating kick that I've been on for the last couple of days the room smells like pineapple and oranges. I have finished all relevant homework. And on Thursday plan to do nothing but math (prepare yourself for various entries/phonecalls). Valentine's Day is coming, stalking me slowly like the horrid beast it is. There are various enraging signs. "Planning on getting lucky? Don't get something else. Come to blah for free condoms and std test." Grr.

Tomorrow evening I shall be joining "IPE 382 for an evening of Illicit Political Economy!!! Topics Inclue: Arms Dealing, Drug Trafficking, EUC's, Interpol, Liberia, Collapse of the Soviet Union, Blood Diamonds, Slave Trade, and Money Laundering." I AM EXCITED!

I spoke to the student who is introducing the speaker and he said the speaker always starts off the same, "Half of you are here to learn to do these things, and half of you are here to learn to catch the people who do. So take a good look at the person next to you, chance are you'll see them again." LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
