Jan. 20th, 2005 06:07 pmI hate math. I especially hate being in the "mathematically challenged" class which is consumed by busy work. As if academic integrity is measured by the amount of homework you receive. We all know we're bad at math! Just let us have the damn math credit. Here is an example question...
"Find two different newspaper articles from different papers of different types (sports, editorials, etc.) and compare the reading level by examining the distribution of word lengths."
Then there are seven complicated steps that involve using Excel and making tables. Even if I were not Excel challenged this would take at least an hour and a half. I can barely make myself concentrate on English for 15 mins. Not to mention I don't have a printer. A part of me want to do perfectly in this class to annoy the ex-nun who hates me (and with good reason...) and another wants to say "Fuck it." I wonder if I can still drop this class.
