(no subject)

I'm back! Which I'm sure will be news for the two that knew I was gone...

The weekend was merely a series of incidents involving grasshoppers, mayflies, wasps, daddylonglegs, a rather large mosquito, and a butterfly. I barely survived. However! I spent the last eight hours (of the "vacation") with my Godmother's family. There's nothing like a Cuban family to make you appreciate your own non-touchy, unemotional, uncommunicative family. I spent about an hour arguing women's rights with Papi. It didn't go too well as he only speaks some English and I haven't gotten to the politics chapter in Spanish. But the food! Ahhh the food...

I have nothing planned for the day but reading fan fiction. It's so perfect.
